"Got this coat because I moved to Alaska recently. I'm glad I read the other reviews first though. I bought one size larger than what I normally wear, and this thing fits me perfectly. I've only worn it for a few minutes, but I can already tell that this thing is going to be a permanent part of my winter attire from now on. This coat is quite amazing, and it has little things that I've never seen in other coats before. The bottom elastic band actually unsnaps from the front (it's still attached in the back) of the coat and snaps around you directly, so it keeps all the air out. Also the top Velcro near your face is spaced out so you can breath through it, but is still sealed enough to block wind. For anyone thinking of getting this coat for cold weather, definitely go for it. If you're looking for something for mild-cold weather, this might be overkill for you."

"A week after being offered this jacket, I traveled to Estrela's ridge in Portugal, and experienced some harsh times. The snow was pouring like rain, and the wind was stroinger then usual. Gladly I had this jacket on, or else i wouldn't have made it to the top. At least with all my fingers on... This jacket was my best companion in the base camp."
