Good for hiking

These really are nice pants for hiking in but do pay attention to sizing. I read the reviews, got a size larger than I normally wear and they fit great. Couple of complaints though. You will never sneak up on anything wearing these. Every step I took the fabric rustled and rubbed the way windbreaker warm up pants do. Fine if you don't want to surprise a bear in the woods, but hard to get close to a deer. My biggest complaint though was the front closure button. Why isn't it a snap that I'd be able to do up with one hand? The double button closure seems like a good idea but one of the buttons was sewn on very loose and I'm afraid of losing it under any kind of active pressure. The main button is sewn on using a tough strap instead of just thread, but man I would've preferred a snap. I suppose I may eventually get that replaced....
Pros:
Comfortable, Breathable, Lightweight, Plenty of Pockets, Quick Drying
Creative sizing?

Trying to figure out the sizing on these pants is whole new game for me. Since it took about 3 weeks to get them, and now I have to return them I wonder why the BG people don't just tell you that if you live in the US, order at least a size larger. I am a perfect 32 in the US; these size 32 pants don't fit at all. It's very infuriating.
