Your GORE-TEX® fabric is working hard for you as you trek through a monsoon, and then when the rain ceases, you can flip that hood down and hide it in its little bunker under its bellowed collar. Sometimes you don't have to find extreme weather. It finds you! Don't get caught out, be prepared. Prepared to stay dry.

Just got hold of my Gore Tex Paclite and I am very impressed. NZ is a hostile environment (in the wild) and the weather here requires a good waterproof jacket. I do a lot of out door activities, but I would be loathed to use this jacket for two sports I do often - Mountain Biking and running. Even though it is a paclite jacket, the Craghoppers outter is slightly heavier than I expected (which also has it's bonuses in that it feels tougher). It is also fairly short in length (so when biking etc your lower back could be exposed... Anyway, I am a city dweller so this jacket will probably be used more with a pair of jeans when I watch sport at the local stadium or go out on the town, but it is also smart enough to wear with my work pants. I got this jacket in the sale and to be honest I think you would be hard pushed to find a better British built Gore Tex jacket on the market at this price. Thank you Bear and Craghoppers...

THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST JACKET EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just received the pac lite jacket todayyyy OMGGG!! IT IS THE BEST I WAS IN THE SHOWER TESTING THIS! 10000000% water proof and wind proof, its a little bigger than regular jackets, so order a size smaller. the only down side was the time it took to come, 16 days total ... other than that it is AWESOME, i was thinking of getting the steep tech instead of this and screw steeptech (northface) this is the ************ (words cant describe it)

Just a great great jacket. I do a lot of extreme adventuring and this jacket fits perfectly. while the hood might be better as an attachment, the use of it has been very beneficial as I usually take the hood off on my jackets and end up searching for an attached head protection with none at arms reach. Head protection is a luxury, but this jacket is a necessity for all those that enjoy traveling beyond the marked path and or just want to maintain a dry existence when precipitation does become apart of your environment.
